Sigma's BC 1009 STS is a smart wireless computer choice for every cyclist. Its diversity of functions make it an unrivaled bargain, too! Its easy to navigate big-numeral display is a joy to use. The integrated storage chip "remembers" your personal settings and total values even during battery change, which is announced by the low battery indicator. Plus, an optional second-bike sensor is available.

Sigma's 3-channel wireless transmission system sends Speed, Cadence and Heart Rate measurements (see functions list for this model's display options) in digitally encoded data packages to an integrated receiver in the computer head, providing accurate ride data without interference between channels.

Cons

    Comments:

Easy to use. Easy to change display with your thumb due to the location of the mode button. Display is very easy to read, even in bright sun. The O rings will hold the devices on the bike adequately. I used the included tie wraps on the sensor because I don't intend to remove it very often. I need to get the docking station and software so I have no input regarding that. Note regarding earlier post- Do not use screw clamps on aluminum or carbon fiber, it will damage these materials

    Comments:

The mounting comes with zip ties and super durable o-rings. O-ring mount on fork is nice. Tighter than a zip-tie. Very easy to set-up. I have had several computers. Trek - Bontrager and now Sigma. This Sigma is highly regarded - you can add me to the list. My old Trek lasted for awhile (years) - died after being dropped once to often. The bontrage incite6i was dropped once - died - I am done with them. This unit has an awesome display. I am thinking of getting the computer interface works with both Mac and PC. My wife can read it without her glasses!

Don't buy this computer, poor design

    Comments:

This computer is garbage. The computer is mounted to the handlebars with a black rubberband, and the wireless sensor mounted to the fork is mounted with a black rubberband. I have a computer on my other bike and the computer and the sensors are held on using screw clamps. Do not waste your money with this poorly built computer.
